Since being very young, I've enjoyed drawing, painting and making things (www.lindahull.co.uk) At school, I excelled at art, so it was no surprise I went to art college. I graduated with a degree in fashion, became a shoe designer before re-training to be an art teacher. For many years I taught art and design in Lancashire and Leicestershire (UK) schools and colleges. In 1999 I started a small business called 'Irongarden' designing and making unusual garden ironwork (www.irongarden.co.uk)
At some point I began to 'play' with a bit of copper wire and made some brooches. People admired them and, surprisingly, bought them. Practice, perseverance and 'dreaming' of wire led to the creation of 'wacky wire' and this website. My work is constantly developing and changing all the time. This website, hopefully, will keep you up to date with what is happening with 'wacky wire'.
